    Great shoe. Had these last year and they finally wore out. Tried the Lone Peak 7 and they are much wider. Was very grateful the 6 was still in stock.

    I have been a big fan Alta since the very first pair I put on and there was no break-in of the shoe. I just put them on and off I went like I had had the shoes for many years. I have had several different pairs of these shoes, no matter what style they are I have the same reaction every time, always ready for me to put them on and ready to go. This last pair I bought the women’s lone peak 6 trail shoes is part of the my gear I'm getting together for my trip to see the Sequoios and go the hiking trails there and then into the Kings Forrest. I have been trying them out here around my house. We live in the country and have pretty rough terrain around here in these hills. And as before their great. You put them on and go. The fit is always on point and the comfort is as if I have had them for several months. Al I have to say is that they're awesome and I have had many compliments. The only thing is that I thought I had order the green as shown above in this review. But I was reluctant to send the teal and the orange to get back in time for our visit to California in Mont Claire and then on to see the big trees.Even though we live in a forest we need to be able to see what the really big trees look like.     Came fast, nice color, toes were for people with wide toes like duck feet. I have narrow toes so too big. Also no arch support, very soft. Not firm. Had to send back. If arch would have been supportive I would have kept them.
