great fit, very comfortable
I developed hammertoes last year and the podiatrist recommended Hoka shoes. I bought my first pair at a retail store, and bought a men's pair of Bondi because the women's wide wasn't wide enough. Those shoes were far better than the shoes I had been wearing previously in terms of support for my foot, but even the wide was tight and it took months before I could wear the shoes without discomfort. Since the retail store had nothing wider, I decided to try buying online, which I don't normally do with something where fit is important, like shoes. This time I got men's extra wide, and they have been wonderful. Today is my third day wearing them and there has been no discomfort at all, just good support, and a better-looking shoe than the first pair as well (important since I have to wear them all the time, for work as well as casual).

I purchased these shoes specifically for walking. And I am happy that I did. They are everything everyone says they are, well designed, comfortably cushioned and lightweight. I only wish that they came in slip-ons. These are not inexpensive shoes. But they are worth it, without regret...
