Orca Men's Apex Flex Wetsuit - 2025

The Apex Flex wetsuit is the most flexible of the entire Orca range. It is designed for the most technical swimmers, those who benefit from more flexibility and who do not need extra buoyancy. The construction of the short, inverted zipper allows for a more elastic design. This, in combination with the most flexible materials on the market with the most hydrodynamic properties, make it the fastest wetsuit for the best open water swimmers.

Composition of Neoprene:

• 44+ - Orca’s high-end range combines exclusive Yamamoto 44 technology with high-elasticity Infinity Skin 2 lining
  to provide maximum freedom of movement to the shoulders. The inner lining contains bamboo fibers for
  more flexibility with each stroke. It also reduces odor and prevents the growth of bacteria. This combination
  provides total flexibility in the shoulders of high-end Orca wetsuits. The material requires 90% less force to
  stretch than conventional neoprene.
• 40 PF+ - Together, the Power-fit compressive lining and Yamamoto 40 technology from Orca’s high-end range provide a perfect fit in the torso and prevent water from flowing through the wetsuit. The Nano Ice SCS surface coating improves hydrodynamics, reducing water resistance and allowing the open water swimmer to reach top speed with each stroke.
• 39 + - Yamamoto 39 neoprene is combined with the high-elasticity Infinity Skin 2 lining and SCS surface coating.
  The smooth finish acheived with the SCS coating reduces resistance and friction in the water, improving
  hydrodynamics and increasing speed.

Additional Features: 

• Hydrolite - The compressive properties of Hydrolite technology improve the wetsuits’s seal in areas where water
  may be able to enter, such as the neck, improving the wetsuit’s overall thermal insulation.
• Ultimate Seal Collar - Laser cutting in the neck area combined with the Hydrolite inner lining allows the wetsuit to seal to the body and prevents chafing. This combination and seal prevent water from flowing inside the suit, improving both thermal insulation and hydrodynamics for the swimmer.
• 0.88 Free - 0.88 Free technology has been developed with Yamamoto exclusively for Orca. This material can be
  stretched with 75% less force than conventional neoprene, with immediate recovery. An inner lining with a
  Titanium coating is also used to maintain its thermal properties.
• YKK R - The YKK R zipper is a reverse coil zipper with a narrow width. The seams at the bottom of the zipper have a
  simpler finish in order to give more freedom of movement to the lower back area, so that swimmers with a
  more powerful kick can realize their full potential.
